Understanding Wounds

What is a healing vs non-healing wound?

A chronic wound is defined by Medicare as older than 30 days. Some of these wounds are not healing despite normal wound care. These are called “Chronic, non-healing wounds”. These types of wounds can be difficult to heal.

There are many reasons your wound will not heal, and clinicians know what treatment modalities are needed to help your wound heal. Please contact a wound care provider for medical advice and to see if our products can aid in your treatment.
